There are several reservoirs in our area, and we haven't been to any of them. This is for a few reasons, most of which deal with the dogs' safety. Last summer blue-green algae was rampant, due to the drought. I've also heard horror stories of dogs getting swept away when the reservoirs are opened. After passing Fewston every time we drive out to Bolton Abbey, though, Sloan and I decided to stop and try its walk. It was so enjoyable that the next weekend we took Paul and Max back! Once again, little information, but as we were there right before sunset, nature obligingly treated us to some amazing views!
I always assumed this was a church, and I'm sure it once was- now it's the Visitor's Center.
