After Mycenae we went down to Nafplio, a harbor town on the Peloponnesian peninsula. It was actually the first capital of modern Greece. A beautiful town, it is frequented by tourists and Greeks alike. We really just walked around, ate gyros and gelato, and climbed some steps (see next post). Here are some views of Nafplio.
