Of course, we had to see the famous Cliffs of Moher. The visitor's center is overrated and not worth the time it takes to walk through it- better to spend your time walking along the cliffs. The wind is powerful, but the views are as well.
I've read that livestock have the best views in Ireland- these cows certainly aren't missing out!

The Burren is a geographical formation known as a "karst" landscape, meaning an area "shaped by the dissolution of a layer or layers of soluble bedrock." (thanks, Wikipedia!) The land is striking in the contrast of the green valleys and the stark grey hills above.
