We spent a whole day in Clonmel so that I could see the Donkey Derby. It's also a great little town, so we enjoyed walking around it, too.
The Main Guard, built in 1675 as a courthouse.
A regular street, I just wanted to share the beautiful countryside right on the edge of town!
On the side of a building. I love this clock!
The 1831 West Gate.
Nothing special I know of, I just liked the building.
Again, just a cool building.
Before we left home I'd googled Clonmel and I saw that there was a festival going on while we were there- the Junction Festival, huge theatre and performance festival. Paul and I were unfortunately only able to catch one show, despite so many great-sounding options. We saw "Love All", a hilarious comedy written and performed by Aideen Wylde and Tadhg Hickey, who write and perform under Cheery Wild Productions. The play was fantastic and entertained both Paul and me- which can be hard to do!
